“ Nom nom nom nom nom nom! Genuine Texas smoked meat...So dang good! We had brisket, chicken, Mac n cheese, corn casserole, rolls, and banana pudding for desert. Add-ons were pickles, & the pickled onions, along with sweet tea & lemonade. Chris and his wife, Holly, know exactly what they're doing. If you need catering or food for a special event, look this team up! They recently catered for us and served around 70 people. They have a system place and execute it well. We will be using their services again. ”

“ Okay this place has me PISSED that they're so dang freaking good. I talked my fiancé into stopping by their pop-up on a rainy day because I had been following them for a while and the hyped seemed real. But what I wasn't prepared for was how hard this food SMACKS. We took our food home to escape the rain and just sat there in dead silence absolutely CHOMPING on the delectable gift in front of us. I've had bbq from all across the US. I've had bbq from quite a few places who claim to have good bbq and they disappoint. But this place? So humbly dominates the BBQ game. For a rainy day, the whole Oakhouse team was in great, kind, friendly spirits and happy to dish up their well-rounded menu. Their mac and cheese had me doing that chewing-while-aggressively-pointing-at the-dish kind of thing and their brisket is the kind that doesn't need to hide behind a sauce and HALLELUJAH for that. If you're blessed enough to find one of their pop-ups, DO IT. bring yo camping chair, bring yo wife, bring an appetite. Thank you Oakhouse team for raising the bar! ”

“ Went to a pop up at Rocklin community theatre on July 9th and ordered the 3 meat plate that comes with 2 sides for $25. My plate featured brisket-pulled pork & pork rib,along with Green Chile Mac n cheese and jalapeño sweet slaw and 2 slices of bread and pickled veggies. Brisket was special,10/10-perfect ratio of meat ,seasonings and fat-really enjoyed it. Pulled pork was a solid 8/10-nice flavor and not dry,which happens with so many pulled pork dishes Pork Rib was a very memorable 9/10-meat just fell off the bone with magnificent flavor! Green Chile mac was so good I wish I had ordered 2 of them!!! Overall great experience trying this true Texas style BBQ and look forward to trying them again at their next pop-up!!! I apologize for the bad pic,I was too concerned to eat,to take the time to take a proper pic.next time for sure! ”
“ Everything is delicious! The brisket is by far my favorite, so tender and juicy with just the right about of Smokey flavor! Hollys sides are to die for but my favorite is the Mac n cheese. You will not find better BBQ in California than OakHouse. Do yourself a favor and hire them for your next event. ”
“ Oak House BBQ catered a 80th birthday party for my husband. We had 85+ guests and I can tell you, everything was delicious! From the brisket to the pulled pork to the chicken and the sausages everyone raved about dinner....the best baked beans, coleslaw, cornbread casserole and all the fixings... pickled onions.. pickles and jalapenos, yum! Also you can't beat it their service, it was impeccable, they made sure all our guests had what they needed, checked in with everyone. The crew were kind and courteous and left everything spotless when they left our place. We also did the on-site barbecue where Chris came and they set up in barbecued right in our yard, it was spectacular. I highly recommend them for a party, a barbecue anything you want catered. I've had family members ask me where the restaurant is but unfortunately you'll have to find one of their pop-ups which are here and there around town. Chris and Holly did an amazing job thank you! We hope to see you again soon! ”
“ Oakhouse BBQ catered a family party recently, and I tell you, best bbq hands down! from the bbq meats to the cornbread casserole, everything was fantastic! Mind you, they served over 90 guests outside - and still took the time to walk around and make sure everyone had everything they needed. Also, the coleslaw and pickled vegies were to die for! Totally recommend!! ”
“ The absolute best Texas BBQ option in Nor CA! I recently hosted a party at my home and had OakHouse BBQ cater. I ordered a 3 meat option with 3 sides and everyone was so pleased and raved about how delicious the food was. There were artisan styled garnish provided as well, pickled red onion and small pickles and sauce. Everything was high quality and clearly made with talent and pride. Not only was the food quality impressive, they provided a wonderfully beautiful display for the food and steel pan dishes to compliment all of it. Even their sweet tea was fabulous and coupled it with the nicest dispenser for easy serving. I highly recommend Oak House BBQ and I'm hoping they one day open a restaurant. 10 out of 10 for Texas BBQ! ”
“ We had Oakhouse cater a party of 50 and they did an outstanding job! We had tri tip, pulled pork and shrimp with coleslaw, potatoes and tomato/cucumber salad. Everyone loved it. Chris and Holly took care of everything and the presentation of the food was great. We will definitely hire them again in the future. ”
